Richard F. Walker, Ph.D., R.Ph.

  Dr. Walker is dedicated to creating products that promote health, vitality and reduce diseases associated with aging in domestic animals. He also heads a consulting firm for physicians and health care practitioners called Paradox Regulatory and Scientific Services, Inc.

  Dr. Walker received his BS in pharmacy from Rutgers University, his MS in Biochemistry from New Mexico State University and his PhD in comparative physiology from Rutgers University. He completed postdoctoral fellowships in neuroendocrinology and neuropharmacology at Duke University Medical Center (Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development) and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively.

  Dr. Walker held tenured faculty positions at Clemson University (Department of Zoology) and at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine (Department of Anatomy and Molecular Biology/Sanders-Brown Research Center on Aging). While serving as Associate Director of Toxicology at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceutical Corp., he was also research professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.

  In addition to his recent research efforts at the University of South Florida (USF), Walker served as Director of Research Compliance and also Director of USF CARES (Clinical Alliance for Research, Education and Service). He has been the recipient of many federal (NSF, NIH, DOD), state and local research grants and has published extensively in his field of interest which is primarily directed towards neuroendocrine aspects of organismal aging.
